RECYCLING REVOLUTION

We are delighted to announce the opening of our
state-of-the-art recycling centre in Hitchen Hertfordshire

Licensed to take in 100,000 ton of waste a year our Material Recovery Centre (MRF) has the benefit of 4,000 square feet of office space which will be utilised as a waste training facility. Our recycling centre, adjacent to the back of the building, can be accessed from the main building and viewed on arranged training days.

With over £3m worth of investment the site will create 30 jobs and recycle core products such as: paper, cardboard, plastics, wood, metals, plasterboard, green waste and textiles diverting 90-95% from landfill.

Fully supported by WRAP and with planning permission granted this brings Winters to the next level of recycling in the ever-changing and growing industry of waste.

This facility is for Hertfordshire and working in tandem with the Environment Agency and Hertfordshire county council we intend to address the burgeoning problem of waste in the county.

We are committed to reduce the impact of waste at landfill sites in the South East thereby minimising the long term environmental damage. To achieve this, we pre-sort, re-use and recycle of all waste!
